Aspen Kelly is outfitting to celebrate her thirteenth birthday celebration on Sept. 1 and, to celebrate, the Oklahoma native — who is battling leukemia — had one extraordinary solicitation. “Aspen’s desire was to recieve postcards for her birthday since she needs to see spots and things she’s never been to, on the grounds that this year she can’t host a get-together, travel, or go anyplace for her birthday because of low counts,” her mother, Vanessa Kelly, told Closer Weekly.

Since Vanessa shared her little girl’s birthday wish on Facebook last month, Aspen, 12, has gotten “north of 1,000 cards such a long ways from each of the 50 states and more than 49 nations,” her mother told Closer. Then, on Monday, Aug. 21, Vanessa took to virtual entertainment to spout around one note Aspen just received via the post office — a postcard from Tom Hanks!

“This postcard is too amazing not [to] offer, and I’m absolutely geeking-out the present moment! But Tom Hanks carved out opportunity to send Aspen a postcard from Greece! Didn’t know it was truly him, but we contrasted his composition with a letter a fan got on the web and his image,” Vanessa composed on Facebook. “What’s more, he’s in Greece at the present time. How cool is that?!? Much thanks, Tom Hanks, for finding opportunity to send Aspen a postcard!”

On the rear of the postcard, Tom, 62, pleasantly stated, “Aspen — I trust this shows up in time for your Happy thirteenth Birthday! Love you! Tom Hanks.”

Vanessa’s unique Facebook post about Aspen’s extraordinary solicitation was composed on July 20 and incorporated the title, “Birthday Request for a Fighter.” Vanessa then, at that point, stated, “Along these lines, as many people know my girl Aspen has been battling Leukemia since Nov. 22, 2017. Her birthday is Sept. 1 and she will turn 13. She can truly do nothing or go anyplace for her birthday like she used to so she has an exceptional solicitation. She might want to get postcards for her birthday.”

“Since she can’t actually travel except if her counts are up, she is trusting that perhaps people can send her a postcard from where they reside in the United States or everywhere,” the message proceeded. “She couldn’t imagine anything better than to see a lovely spot, or something cool and invigorating from different spots she’s never been to.

“Hopefully we will get one from every one of the 50 states and six of the landmasses. Not certain on the off chance that Antartica is a choice haha. You can send them whenever, I anticipate putting any postcards got into a crate that she can open up on her birthday. I’ll assemble them up for her up to that point,” Vanessa composed at the time.

Assuming that you might want to send Aspen a postcard before her Sept. 1 birthday, if it’s not too much trouble, mail it to the accompanying location:
